Unlocking RNA Mechanistic Biology to Generate & Optimize Quality Datasets & Advance Computational Tools for Better RNA Discovery

Time: 9:01 am
day: Pre-Conference Workshop Day

Details:

While there has been a remarkable boom in the application of AI/ML and computational tools in protein and small molecule drug discovery, the RNA therapeutics field is striving to keep up pace with its own limitations in tailored computational tools, and presents unique challenges. Understanding RNA biological mechanisms and its structure-function relationship is crucial to optimize and inform quality datasets for data generation and enhance novel computational tools to aid the RNA discovery process. This workshop will be led by key thought leaders to elevate your insights into RNA structure discovery tools and explore interdisciplinary perspectives to ultimately advance and facilitate computational tools for RNA therapeutic discovery.

Topics include:

  • What are the key principles of computational models and experimental dataset generation to be applied to RNA therapeutics?
  • What are the biological mechanisms that underly RNA function and must be understood to inform datasets training?
  • How to leverage knowledge of the RNA structure-function relationship to develop and derive new computational model systems?
